The Hidden Costs and Expenses of Travel
On your website travel / finding us page it would be great to let people know some other expenses they may not have thought of.
Driving….
Suggest your nearest Ferry Ports and distances from you.
Will they need to think about the cost of tolls? Is the toll route the best or quickest?
Maybe its too far to travel in one day so suggest a good point to stop and a couple of hotels that you could recommend and where the nearest place to eat. Then give a rough estimate of time scale for the onward travel.
Flying….
Extra Airline charges if bringing skis, golf clubs or bikes etc. Also offer prices to rent these items locally so they can compare the options.
Onward Travel….
Transfers - Suggest ways to move between the airport and your accommodation. Whether taxi service, bus service or your personal transfer scheme.
Car Hire – If they want to be able to explore the area why no suggest a good car hire company.
